Overview of WebScan™

What is WebScan? WebScan is a powerful, document management solution that works via the web. All you need to get started is a scanner and stuff to scan! Simply scan a batch of documents (CMNs, EOBs, Invoices, Employment Documents, AP Info, Patient Satisfaction Surveys, etc.) into a network folder and WebScan automatically detects the new batch and uploads it to your account on one of our 100% HIPAA-Secure servers located in our state-of-the-art data center.

Once uploaded, WebScan’s powerful “Optical Character Recognition” (OCR) engine identifies, indexes and files the documents for your immediate on-line retrieval. Our data storage infrastructure consists of fault-tolerant servers (Raid Level 5 file systems, redundant power supplies, dual NICs), external Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) with battery back-up AND diesel generators with over 30 days continuous operation, and off-site tape back-up. This environment ensures you and your staff a 100% worry-free document management solution. And the best thing is that using WebScan means no software, no servers and no hassles™!

Next, what types of information do you want to capture from those types of documents (account numbers, names, dates, procedure codes, etc.)? Also, will you be utilizing our integrated fax drivers, print drivers, ERN auto-uploads, etc., to upload data into WebScan?
